Membership form filling and payment of fees.
We talked at the AGM about having an assessment night where we could
discuss images and suggest possible changes to improve them. I suggest
up to 6 per member.
10th “You be the judge” Neil MacGregor
It’s a few years since Neil gave this talk and it proved very popular and gives
a good insight into what makes a good competition picture.
17th Twenty’s Plenty
Bring along up to 20 images taken over the summer and those of us who
visited the isle of May please include a few from the trip.
Hand-in for the 1st image league competition.
Up to 4 per member.

29th Stephen Lipton ‘My year in photography'
It’s a few years since Stephen visited the club, another prolific photographer who always has his camera handy to capture anything interesting he sees from the Waverley to a red squirrel. Stephen is on Facebook and Instagram where he post a picture every day.

My photography is all based around nature, flowers, wildlife, natural abstract patterns and landscape driven by projects mainly in or near to home.

Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2018 Competition: Overall title, portfolio Commended.
Damian currently resides in North Lanarkshire with his wife Allyson and two boys David and Ryan. When not out shooting the landscape he is deputy picture editor for The Herald&Times group in Glasgow and regularly undertakes commissioned shoots for a variety of clients, including portfolios for Visit Scotland. Damian is also a regular contributor to several photographic/outdoor magazines and his work has been widely published.
