The Club was formed in the 1930s in the Singer Sewing machine factory. After the factory closed, the club moved to the Hub Community Centre, Clydebank and was renamed Hub Singer.

Hub Singer CC is a member of the Glasgow District Photographic Union (GDPU) and the Scottish Photographic Federation (SPF). It also takes part in local exhibitions.

Club nights are every Tuesday evening from 7.30pm – 9.30pm, normally September through to May each year.

The membership fee is £25 per annum and members pay £2 on club nights towards refreshments and other sundries.
